Every story to respect starts with Once upon a time, ours does too.

Once upon a time in a city in Italy named Rimini, there was a visionary, Massimo Tamburini. Massimo used to improve motorcycles’ power, weight and handling, just driven by his passion.
In 1971 he customized his first bike by welding the frame himself and turning it into a sleek and fast sportster. In 1973 together with his partners, he founded the Bimota factory.

The name is an acronym of the first two letters of the last names of the three founders: Bianchi, Morri and Tamburini. A myth was born with the purpose to “make perfect what was considered already perfect”. The new concept of a motorcycle will amaze the world.
